IBADAN — Government College Ibadan now has campus-wide broadband internet following a project by the school's Old Boys Association (GCIOBA), led by its North America branch, and internet service provider ipNX under its corporate social responsibility programme. The project was presented at the association's Lagos branch annual luncheon. The President of GCIOBA, Olawale Babalakin, spoke on the importance of the project for the school. The Group Managing Director of ipNX, Ejovi Aror, said digital infrastructure has become essential for education.
