ILISHAN-REMO — Babcock University and the Project Management Institute (PMI) Nigeria have signed a memorandum of understanding to improve the global employability of the university's students. Under the agreement, students will have access to professional development opportunities and globally recognised certifications, and a PMI student club will be established on campus. The partnership will also promote research. The signing took place in the Vice-Chancellor's boardroom. Speakers included the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Afolarin Ojewole, PMI Africa's Head of Community, Mrs Adeola Akande, and PMI Nigeria President, Dr Gbolahan Oyelakin, who described the agreement as historic. PMI will also cover all expenses for one Babcock student to attend a regional programme in Cape Town later in 2026.
