FG Launches D30 Platform to Attract Investors to Creative and Tourism Sectors

ABUJA — The Federal Government has launched the D30 Platform, a new digital hub aimed at drawing more investment into Nigeria's creative and tourism industries. The platform was developed by the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy in partnership with Cavista Holdings. It brings together information on creative clusters, tourism assets, infrastructure gaps and viable business opportunities across the country, giving investors, businesses and state governments a single place to find the data they need. The Minister, Barr. Hannatu Musa Musawa, said the platform addresses a long-standing problem in the sector: the lack of reliable data. She explained that an investor interested in building a film facility, for example, would be able to see where creative clusters already exist and what supporting infrastructure is available. According to her, the platform is designed to support decision-making, not simply to store information. The Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr Abdulkarim Ozi Ibrahim, said D30 would help government plan with evidence, give investors better visibility of the market and enable businesses to make sounder commercial decisions. The launch is part of government efforts to grow the creative economy, which includes film, music, fashion and other cultural industries, into a larger source of jobs and revenue.
